Autumn in the UK

 Hello!
First off I'll apologise for my lack of posts of late. The problem is when you have a 9-5 job and the days are getting shorter, taking pictures in natural light gets really really difficult!
It's a shame too because Autumn is my favourite time for fashion. I like layering and all the different textures but it's still not cold enough that you have to hide everything under a coat.
Anyway, I got this p-leather skirt from Primark recently, well actually I got it at the beginning of October when that heat wave was happening, so I hadn't really had the chance to wear it. I wasn't sure about it at first but actually I'm really enjoying it! It can be styled in so many different ways and it is a great skirt for Winter warmth!
The snood is also new and I love its chunk-factor.

Tea Dress, Brogues, Elbow Pads

Check out my all new outfit! So it's true to say that within the last few weeks I have gone absolutely mental buying clothes which has resulted in me being totally broke, thus having to take a tonne of stuff back to the shops. Yes, it was a sad day.
However, all is not lost because I still have some excellent new wardrobe staples. As much as I loved my Primark brogues they just couldn't cut the 'wanting to wear them more than a week' thing and are steadily heading for the bin. So when I saw these babies in H&M I had to have them! Completely classic and hopefully will last me for a very long time.
I've been wanting a tea dress for a while too and when I saw this one hanging sadly in the sale rail in Asda I felt it's £8 price tag was really more of an invite to take it home with me.
Now, elbow pads are something I've felt very short of lately so I'm happy to add this elbow padded cardigan to my large collection of knitwear. Welcome elbow pads, welcome.

Navajo Knit

So I decided to change where I take my photos. I was getting tired of not being able to get a full length shot but everywhere I tried never seemed to work. There was never a clear wall or it was generally too messy (I'm working on that) and you really don't realise how messy a room is until you take a picture of it... or your Mum is due round for a visit.
Well anyway, here is my quite casual attempt at a navaho look. Obviously the focal point is the cardigan which is a new favourite. Really for full on Pocahontas style I suppose I should have gone for a fringed bag or boots but sadly I have neither in my possession.
It's still a little too warm for boots so I opted for simple black espadrilles and kept everything else quite neutral.
