Thrift Shirt

I found this shirt ages ago in a charity shop after being inspired by endless Clothes Encounters videos. It's been sat in my drawers for a while before I re-discovered it and re-appreciated it once again. It's such a fugly pattern and colour but it has a great shape and a really defined collar, so I sort of love its ugliness.

Since the whole outfit is quite neutral, I jjj-d it up a bit with the statement necklace and my favey fave purple lipstick. Lipstick is the best.

It's definitely getting into in-betweeny weather with regards to coat wearing. I can guarantee if I leave the house in just a shirt (and trousers, you pervert) I'll be cold but if I wear a coat I will be a sweaty mess. How has anyone in history coped with this very real problem?

Daytime Sequins - The Last Blog of 2013

So the eagle eyed among you will have spotted that I'm not wearing actual sequins, just a sequin illusion. Still, I like a good contrast and daytime sequins is the best kind, especially for the festive season.

Being the last blog post of 2013 it feels right to wear a bit of glam, particularly because my great plans to welcome in the new year consist mainly of sitting on the sofa with a curry. Either way, it's New Year's Eve and you've got to wear a bit or sparkle, even if that means teaming with stomach-expansion trousers (leggings) whilst spilling tikka masala down yourself. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Pastels & Hi Tops

I arrived back from Turkey to skies much like this. Depressing isn't the word. So even though Summer hasn't really descended upon England and I can't wear my Summer clothes at least I get to wear my new Nike hi tops! The hi tops and gold watch are two of my holiday purchases and I'm sure you'll be impressed with the genuine fakery.

This look is all about showing off my foot candy and my tan! As you know, mint is my all time favourite colour of the moment and I like how this minty jumper shows off the tan, more so than white.

Once I get myself sorted out, I'll get some pictures of my holiday on here. I had a brilliant time, sleeping until ten or eleven each day, lounging in the sun, eating at the locals caff oposite my Mum's apartment and browsing in the bazaar. It was so nice just to properly relax, wish I could have stayed all Summer.

Edgy Office & Carrie Bradshaw Hair

Apparently I power walked into work the day I wore this, although that was more down to the fact that it was 4 minutes to 9 and I wanted Gaga tickets (which I didn't get *sad face*). Still, this does have a bit of 'power' to it, in a way. I think it's the necklace/collar combo.

I looked up a way to make Carrie Bradshaw hair and the technique I used requires no heat at all. If you want to know how to do it, let me know. I love how much extra a different hair style can bring to a look and I'm still working on 'getting good' at hair. My issue is always trying to make mine bigger or just to look like there is more of it. I really badly need to get my roots done actually...

Smart, Office, Interview Style

This is one of my, quite rare, smart looks. It would be right at home in an office or interview situation but you could easily make it a little edgier by adding some boots, maybe Doc Martens. I found this camel blazer in a charity shop, would you believe. I think it was about £6.

I'm a big fan of men's fashion, so I have talked James round to posing like a good boy. He's really gotten into clothes since being with me, which is fun for me because I can help him choose clothes when we're out shopping. This is definitely one of his smarter more dapper looks but one that could be easily worn out anywhere really. Ryan Gosling is a major style influence for James and why not? Ryan Gosling is hot and his dress sense is badass!
