Blue Breton Stripes

I found this Breton t-shirt in H&M's sale years ago and have come close to getting rid of it before. I've come to my senses recently and realised it's a really staple piece in my wardrobe. Plus every time I wear it, people ask where it's from, so it's clearly a winner.

I layered the stripes over a denim dress and kept it all in place with a belt that magically appeared in my room once. The whole look is quite nautical, which wasn't really intended but blue and red always works a treat.

Have been loving the shit out of this gold necklace lately, it just works with everything.

Winter Colours

It feels wrong talking Winter colours in March. We should be welcoming some sunshine and maybe shedding a layer or seven... but no, it has gone back to being freezing, so I am dressing only as a sensible blogger would.

Luckily, the cold weather means I get to wear the hell out of my new(ish) boyfriend jacket from Oh My Love. It was only £15 in the sale reduced from about £60 and I love it, so a hell of a find. The fur collar is detachable and the material isn't too thick so I'll be able to continue wearing it for a while.

I'm a big fan of teal and burgundy so I like how they tie nicely together with the neutral colours I used for the rest of my outfit. Studs and brogues are still firm favourites too. I don't think they'll be going anywhere when the weather does pick up.

Blue Jeans

I'd been after a pair of blue skinnies in this colour for a while, so when I found these in New Look for just £19.99 I couldn't pass them up. They're a little loose on the ankle but I think I'm going to bust out the needle and thread to sort that out.

Spring started out so nicely but this was a cold day. I love this leather jacket, It's a soft, kind of matte leather and I found it in Primark years ago for £25. A total bargain because the leather has such a nice finish but I find there is never the right time to wear it. While it goes with everything it's kind of too warm for Spring but not warm enough for Winter. These are third world problems people.

Edgy Office & Carrie Bradshaw Hair

Apparently I power walked into work the day I wore this, although that was more down to the fact that it was 4 minutes to 9 and I wanted Gaga tickets (which I didn't get *sad face*). Still, this does have a bit of 'power' to it, in a way. I think it's the necklace/collar combo.

I looked up a way to make Carrie Bradshaw hair and the technique I used requires no heat at all. If you want to know how to do it, let me know. I love how much extra a different hair style can bring to a look and I'm still working on 'getting good' at hair. My issue is always trying to make mine bigger or just to look like there is more of it. I really badly need to get my roots done actually...
