The Perfect Tartan & the Perfect Boyfriend Coat

Today happened to be the warmest, sunniest nicest day of the year, so it feels wrong posting photos from a day when a coat and scarf was still necessary but I'm figuring the warm weather is a temporary blip.

I have only waited until SPRING to find the perfect oversized boyfriend coat and the perfect piece of tartan for my wardrobe, so unfortunately I can't see myself getting to wear them too much but I can rest in the knowledge that they're mine now. After a dodgy eBay buy and a number of returns I discovered this coat at ASOS and it was everything I was looking for, a match made in heaven. It wasn't a match made in heaven for my bank account, in fact, this month's pay has taken a hit but this is a coat for life, so I figure it's worth the investment.

James: Casual Men's Fashion

It's been a little while since James featured on the blog so here he is in a casual gettup featuring a classic band t-shirt. I'm sure he won't be too pleased at me mentioning this but he takes quite a lot of style inspiration from Ryan Gosling, which the beanie and sunglasses combo lean towards. He had had a pair of Primark sunglasses similar to these which broke on holiday, so I bought him a new pair from ASOS. True story.
